Newly appointed Black Stars Coach, Chris Hughton has admitted that he is so proud to represent Black Stars and Ghana as a coach.
The former Newcastle coach made the admonishing yesterday at his unveiling in Kumasi ahead of Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday.
In answering to one of the questions posed to him by the press, the British-born Ghanaian trainer stated that, “To represent Ghana and the Black Stars as the head coach is something I am incredibly proud of. It’s something I will give everything to make the team as successful as possible. I will give everything to make sure the communication and relationship I have with this association and the supporters is good.” The statement concluded.
Chris Hughton was given a 21 month duration period by the Ghana Football Association to lead Ghana through to the AFCON qualifiers, the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast early next year and other matches to be played by the Black Stars.
