
SWAG ELECTIONS: Kyei Manu Pick’s First Slot In A Contest Of Four For Executive Committee Member Position

Former Communication Team Member of Ashgold SC Kyei Manu on 6 October, 2023 picked the number one position on the ballot sheet for the Executive Member Committee contest in the up coming SWAG Elections slated for 21 October, 2023.
The balloting for the four contesting candidate was held to allow the competing aspirants pick a code that contains a number to indicate where each candidate will be placed on the ballot sheet.
The free fair process for picking a slot was held by the Elections Committee under the strict supervision of one of it’s hardworking members Mr Mathias Tibu.
On the other hand, renowned writer and incumbent president Kwabena Yeboah will go uncontested as he seek to secures a third term in office.
Current Vice-President of SWAG, Maurice Quansah is likely to have a keen contest with Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare a former Asante Kotoko board member and the current CEO of Hasaacas ladies.
Meanwhile other members who are going unopposed are the founder of Ghana Armwrestling Federation and incumbent General Secretary, Charles Osei Asibey as well as Owusu Nsiah who is vying for the Treasurer position.
In a contest which could be described as ‘Battle of the Titans’, will be between chairman of the Africa Armwrestling Media Committee and Editor of the Ghana News Agency, Kenneth Odeng Adade and Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi a known figure and a strong candidate from the Western Region for the Deputy General Secretary position.
The elections will be held on October 21, 2023, by SWAG members home and abroad and are in good standing, will cast their vote for their preferred candidate.
