TRANSFER NEWS: Real Madrid Make First Summer Move


Real Madrid has made their first summer move to strengthen the team ahead of the 2023/2024 league season.

The former youth academy player, Fran Garcia will re-join his parent club from Rato Vallecano as the player is believed to be a perfect replacement for Ex Madrid left back Marcelo.

Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the return of the full-back to Real Madrid from Rayo Vallecano this summer.

The 23-year-old came through the Real Madrid youth system and made one appearance for the Spanish giants during the 2018/19 season before he was loaned out to Rayo in 2020. After a successful loan season and helping Vallecano gain La Liga promotion, Garcia signed permanently for the club and has impressed in the top flight league ever since.

In a media interaction after Madrid 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ancelotti confirmed the signing of the player. He revealed; “Fran Garcia is a left-back who has a lot of energy. He is very fast with the ball, and he attacks very well.

“He is a very good profile for Real Madrid, and next year he will be with us.” He stated.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is also believed to be in the final stages to conclude a deal to sign Jude Bellingham this summer. It has been speculated that, the player has agreed personal terms with the Los Blancos’ ahead of the big move.
