Dembele Agree’s To Join Paris Saint Germen

Ousmane Dembele has made a decision to join French giant Paris Saint Germen (PSG) on a five-year deal with personal terms agreed to by the player and the club.

PSG in few weeks back inquired about the 26-year-old player who has entered the final stages of his contract at Camp Nou.

Barcelona, are willing to keep Dembele with talks over a new contract extension but no agreement has been reached yet due to the player’s wish to have a substantial pay rise after agreeing to slash of his wages on a short-term deal he signed with Barcelona last summer.

With the absence of a concrete deal with his current club. PSG have gone ahead to have talks with Dembele in the hope of luring him back to Ligue 1, where he shone with Rennes before his move to Borussia Dortmund in 2016.

The French international has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for €50m if it is triggered by midnight on Monday, the end of July, after which the clause doubles to €100m. PSG could finalise the signing of Ousmane Dembele by paying his release clause, and that is an option, now that personal terms has been agreed.

Sources has it that, an agreement over a five-year deal has been reached between Dembele and PSG with Barcelona been informed. The two big clubs have already held talks and the hours ahead will determine whether PSG will need to pay the release clause or come to agreement with Barcelona.

However, PSG have made it clear that, their move for Dembele is not linked to Kylian Mbappe’s future with PSG, but a pure determination to have Dembele at Parisian since he poses the qualities they want in their club.
