TOUR DU FASO 2024 : MOROCCO MAINTAINS YELLOW AND GREEN JERSEY AS COMPETITION ENTERS STAGE 4

Stage 4 of the ongoing Tour Du Faso was spectacular, combing a gruesome 102 kilometers of a heated Road Race from Ouagadougou to Koudougou with 59 riders in action registering an average speed of 44.506Km/h

Moroccan El Kouraji Mohcine, retained his yellow jersey with fellow compatriot El Arbaoui Adil, also grabbing the Green Jersey. Morocco’s young lad, Driss El Alouani took the Young runner jersey.

Burkinabè sprinter Bamassi Soulama remains 4th in the General ranking with a long stretch of time in 2mins 08sec away from the Yellow jersey.

The immediate sprints jersey winner went to Stash from Russia.
Another Russian sprinter, Anton Popov won the sprint in the 3rd stage of the International Tour du Faso between Ouagadougou and Koudougou in a 102.4km.

Popov dropped the Belgian 10m from the finish line, with a devastating pedal stroke before imposing his time of 2h18mn03mn, on the former which is an average speed of 44,505km/h.

The Russian cyclist, in the escape of 11 runners 10km from the finish line, managed to control his competitors until the decisive 200m, where he made his power speak.

However, three Ghanaians are still in the contention, composing themselves well to make Ghana proud.
