South Korea will test the strength of Ghana in an international friendly after the West African side secured their qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Both countries have qualified to the biggest soccer event in the world and will use the friendly match scheduled for November 18, 2025, as preparatory grounds ahead of the FIFA World Cup to be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The Black Stars are poised to make an amends after the poor showing at the last FIFA World Cup held in Qatar and the encounter with Korea will be a good test match for the team.
The friendly forms part of a strategic plan of the FA to give the Black Stars a high profile matches to put the team in the best of shape ahead of the World Cup next year June.
The last time both sides met, Ghana defeated South Korea by 3 goals to 2 in a tensed packed game with goals coming from Mohammed Kudus and Mohammed Salisu.
The Black Stars will know their faith when FIFA holds the draw for the groups in December 2025 in the USA.
