GHANA CYCLING FEDERATION ANNOUNCES ABSENCE FROM 2025 CAC ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF) regrets to announce that the Ghana National Cycling Team will not participate in the 2025 CAC Road Championships scheduled to take place in Kenya from November 19th to 22nd, 2025.

This decision was made after careful consideration and consultation with relevant stakeholders, due to a scheduling conflict with the Tour du Ghana, a flagship event in the country’s national cycling calendar.
The Tour du Ghana is set to take place from November 13th to 24th, 2025, and cannot be rescheduled due to prior commitments with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders.

According to Mohammed Shaaban-Secretary General of the Ghana Cycling Federation, “We are disappointed to miss this opportunity to compete against the best cyclists in Africa, but we are committed to promoting cycling in Ghana and ensuring the success of our national events”.
