Black Stars Midfielder Sign’s For Red Star Belgrade

Black Stars Midfielder Edmund Addo has completed a transfer move to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade from Spartak Subotica.

The former Sheriff Tiraspol player has been a long time target of the Serbian champions but moved to another Serbian top flight side-Spartak Subotica in January 2023. His performance in eleven matches played for Subotica, convinced club officials of Belgrade to quickly sign on their long time target.

The 23-year old player has successfully completed his medicals and is set to join his Black Stars teammate Osman Bukari at the new club.

However, after a season spent with Spartak Subotica in the Serbian top flight league, Addo’s decision to join champions Red Star Belgrade will offer him the golden opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions league in the coming season.
