Under fire head coach of Ghana, Chris Hughton on Thursday named his 25-man squad for the first round of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The list has three goalkeepers including Joseph Wollacott who returned to the squad after recovering from his injury.
Meanwhile, Baba Rahman has once again been dropped from the squad while TG Hoffeiham defender Kasim Nuhu Adams make a return to the squad after a long break. Daniel Amartey who was absent in the last Black Stars international friendlies against Mexico and USA due to injury has returned with regulars like Mohammed Kudus, Inaki Williams, Salis Samed and the Ayew brothers all making up the squad.
Ghana will take on Madagascar and Comoros later this month in Group I of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA world cup to be hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico.
