
Danlad Ibrahim Yet To Report To Galaxies Camp After Black Stars Exit From World Cup

First choice goalkeeper of the local black stars the Black Galaxies, is yet to report to the team’s camp after his return from Qatar.
Danlad Ibrahim was part of coach Otto Addo’s 26 man squad as a third choice goalie for Black Stars in the Qatar 2022 world cup where the team failed to qualify to the next stages of the competition.
Annor Walker who is the head coach of the Black Galaxies has confirmed that the player lateness to join his colleagues in camp is as a result of ill-health.
The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper has been admitted at the hospital since his return from Qatar and it remainsw unknown when he will be released from the sick bed.
Annor Walker in an interview admitted that, the player is not ready to be in camp due to illness, “Am expecting them in camp but the Black Stars goalkeeper’s trainer says Danlad is not fit and he has been admitted at the hospital but his sickness and the name of the hospital still remains unknown,” he added.
Danlad was among the two local-based players who joined the Black Stars for the Qatar 2022 world cup but did not play part in any of the Black Stars group matches during the tournament and the players are back home following Ghana’s exit.
The Black Galaxies are already in camp preparing for January 2023 CHAN tournament to be hosted by Algeria. The Galaxies will play Hearts of Oak in a friendly on Friday to test their strength ahead of the tournament.
