
CAF :- FIVE NEW VICE PRESIDENTS OF CAF NAMED AT IT’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN GHANA

The Confédération of African Football (CAF), at it’s Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting held in Accra, Ghana on Saturday 26 April, 2025 announced five new Vice Presidents to assist CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
At the meeting chaired by Dr Motsepe, he announced the five new CAF Vice Presidents to assist him steer the affairs of African Football.
The newly-elected CAF Vice Presidents in order of ranks are:
1.CAF First Vice President: Mr Fouzi Lekjaa (Morocco)
2.CAF Second Vice President: Mr Kurt Okraku (Ghana)
3.CAF Third Vice President: Mr Pierre-Alain Mounguengui (Gabon)
4.CAF Fourth Vice President: Ms Bestine Kazadi Ditabala (Democratic Republic of Congo)
5.CAF Fifth Vice President: Mr Feizal Sidat (Mozambique)
Meanwhile, CAF president Dr Motsepe during the Exco meeting, also announced that, Mr Yacine Idriss Diallo, President of Fédération Ivoirienne de football (FIF), has been co-opted onto the CAF Executive Committee.
The CAF Executive Committee additionally, approved names to fill several vacant positions on CAF Committees.
The Committees include;
-Organizing Committee for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) to be led by
Mr Pierre-Alain Mounguengui of Gabon as the president.
-CAF Technical and Development Committee, is headed by Mr Samuel Eto’o fils of Cameroon as the president and will be assisted by Mr Malouche Belhassen from Tunisia as the Vice president.
-CAF Medical Committee: The President is Dr. Mohammed Bouya (Mauritania) with Dr. Thulani Ngwenya from South Africa as the Vice president
However Dr. Patrice Motsepe seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to the outgoing CAF Vice-Presidents for their contributions and leadership during their term in office.
The Dr Motsepe, after the meeting, moved to the University of Ghana sports stadium to watch the final games of the U15 boys and girls CAF African Schools Football Championship held in Accra.
