BLACK STARS: Otto Addo’s New Call Ups And Their Performance In Their Respective Clubs Over The Weekend.

Head coach of the Black Stars Otto Addo named his provisional 55-man squad for QATAR 2022 World Cup last Friday. The output of some of these players will determine their justification or otherwise into the final 26 man squad to be named by Otto Addo in the coming days for the World Cup. Precisewebgh takes a look at the performance of some of the new players in the various leagues locally and internationally.

Below is the perusal of the performance of some selected players during the weekend.

Ibrahim Danlad was in post for Kumasi Asante Kotoko when they came from behind to defeat 10-man Samartex 2-1 in the betpawa Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Stephan Ambrosius played the entire duration of the game for Karlsruher SC in their 4-1 shocking home defeat to Holstein Kiel.

Patrick Kpozo wasn’t in action for Sheriff Tiraspol because his team was not in action during the weekend. They will play against Milsami in the Moldovan league on Wednesday.

Imoro Ibrahim showed his quality for Al-Hilal Omdurman when they dismantled Rabita Kosti 3-0 in the Sudanese league.

Returnee Kasim Nuhu Adams played the entire duration of the game for FC Basel on Sunday in their 0-0 draw with FC Sion.

Mudasiru Salifu was not in action for Sheriff Tiraspol because they were not in action during the weekend. They will play against Milsami in the league on Wednesday.

In form Abdul Salis Samed played 90 minutes to help his club Lens record a 2-1 away victory over Angers in the French Ligue 1.

Majeed Ashimeru came off the bench to play the last 25 minutes for Anderlecht in their 0-0 draw with Royal Antwerp in Belgian league.

Young and enterprising attacker Ernest Nuamah has been listed in the Nordsjaelland squad for their away trip to face Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga today.

Russian based attacker Joel Fameyeh scored the only goal of the game for Rubin Kazan when they beat Dynamo Makhachkala 1-0 in the Russian second-tier league.
