Ghana Premier League side, Aduana Stars has appointed Yaw Acheampong as it’s new head coach to lead the club for the up coming league season.
The ex national team player, now turned coach signed a two year contract with the Dormaa based club until 2025.
Aduana Stars announced the signing of former Medeama SC trainer on Tuesday, 15 August 2023 on their social media handle as the new coach to lead the club for glories.
”We’re delighted to introduce Yaw Acheampong as the fresh Head Coach of Aduana FC. With his wealth of experience and skills, we’re filled with optimism for a triumphant journey ahead. Welcome, Coach”, the club statement read.
The “OGYA”(fire) club has been without a coach since the departure of Paa Kwesi Fabin after the 2022/23 Ghana Premier league season.
The retired Black Stars player is seen as a perfect replacement for coach Fabin. He has been tasked to continue the Aduana Stars project as well as lead the club to achieve laurels for the next two years.
