RAG SEND’S IT’S CONDOLENCES TO ASANTE KOTOKO AND THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF FRANCIS YAW FRIMPONG

The Referees Association of Ghana (RAG), on Monday 5, February, 2025 offered it’s condolences to Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the football fraternity and the family of Francis Yaw Frimpong popularly referred to as ‘Pooley’.

In the statement issued on behalf of RAG and signed by the General Secretary, Alex A. Anning, expressed the association’s deepest condolences to the entire Kotoko family and the football fraternity on the tragic demise of a popular Kotoko fan in some few days back.

RAG in the statement issued, condemned the unacceptable tragedy that has since sent serious shockwaves throughout the country and football enthusiasts. “The unfortunate incident has sent shockwaves throughout the football fraternity, and we share in your grief. It continued, ” the loss of life is never easy, and we can only imagine the pain and sorrow that you must be feeling. This tragedy is unacceptable”.

However, RAG, went ahead to commended the Ghana Police Service and the football association for commencing an investigation into the barbaric act and the further apprehension of the perpetrators of the heinous crime. It also called on the police service to count on RAG’s support to bring the killers to book.
