The improved form of Jordan Ayew recently has gone unnoticed by many including his head coach Roy Hodgson.
The Crystal Palace manager has heaped praises on the Ghanaian striker following his recent fine form at club level.
Jordan has seen an improved form in his performance since the arrival Hodgson, scoring three goals in five premier league appearances.
The Black Stars attacker netted in Crystal Palace’s 4-3 win over West Ham United at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The 75-year old coach stated in a post match interview that, “He was always strong, he was always good at holding off challenges, he was very difficult to take the ball from and he was a good dribbler.
“But he’s added to his game. He’s added the awareness of what’s around him and when maybe it’s not the right time to attempt the dribble or the turn and to do something else, which is a great compliment to him. Also, of course, he’s scored some goals,” Roy Hodgson stated.
He added, “I can’t praise Jordan enough. His game has improved enormously.”
The great form of Jordan Ayew at club level lately must be a good news for Black Stars coach Chris Hughton, who will expect such performance to be replicated at the national team level.
