WE CAN TURN THE SCORELINE AWAY – NORA HAUPTLE, AFTER QUEENS LOSE TO ZAMBIA

Ghana Black Queens coach, Nora Hauptle, believes that her side can turn the 1-0 scoreline deficit in the women Olympic games qualifiers far away in Ndola, Zambia.

The Copper Queens of Zambia defeated Black Queens of Ghana by a goal to nil in the 1st leg of the Women’s Olympic Games third round qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.

However, in Nora’s opinion after the game, she believed that her side could have scored more than three or four goals against their opponents from Zambia. She expressed her joy over the performance of the Queens for their dominance and control of the game in the entire 90 minutes.

At a post match press conference, the Swiss tactician said, “In the first half, we couldn’t create so many chances from the many possessions. normally, we should have won this game 3-1 or 4-1”. Nora lamented after the game.

Hauptle is of the believe that, the Queens can turn the scoreline in the 2nd leg fixture of the qualifiers on Wednesday to get the node over Zambia for the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.

“There are two games, and another 90 minutes to go. I think we did well, with how we started the game. Ghana had possession today, Ghana played football today, and the queens were showing that we can play amazing football”. She said.

Meanwhile, the Black Queens have already arrived in Ndola, Zambia for the reverse fixture of the 3rd round Olympic games qualifier on Wednesday 28 February, 2024.
According to reports the players are in high spirit and have determined to make the nation proud by beating the Copper Queens.
