Interim head coach of Ghana, Otto Addo has admitted the difficulty it will take for his men to overcome next opponent South Korea in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Black Stars started poorly in their opening world cup game against Portugal on Thursday where they lost 2-3 to the latter at stadium 974.
Ghana will play it’s next game against South Korea on Monday in their second group H’ game with the hope of winning to make qualification to the knockout stage a possibility.
Meanwhile, ahead of the game coach Otto Addo has reiterated that his side must win against the Asian giant’s-South Korea to have the believe of progressing to the next round of the competition.
In a post match interview, Addo said, “First of all, surely, we have a chance especially since they played a draw so if we win against South Korea and Portugal win hopefully against Uruguay then we will be second so the chance is still big”.
“And surely it will be very, very tough to beat South Korea because they are good. But now we have to win.
“We are under pressure but they are too”, he added.
Black Stars are getting ready to make amends after the Portugal setback when they come up face to face with South Korea at the Education City Stadium at 1300GMT.
