
LOC For 12th Africa Armwrestling Championships Inaugurated

A 13 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) members for the 12th Africa Armwrestling Championships was Inaugurated today at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Accra to see the hosting of the 12th edition of the Africa Armwrestling Championships.
Ghana was given the hosting right to host Championships in June, 2023 with over 27 participating countries expected to take part in the championships in Accra.
The 13 member committee made up of high profile personalities in Ghana include, former Mayor of Greater Accra Region Hon. Mohammed Adjei-Sowah, head the committee as the Chairman whilst Mr Edwin Amankwah, the Chief Operating Officer of Global Media Alliance Group deputize as the Vice Chair of the committee.
Meanwhile, the other committee members are Dr. Prince Pambo(Black Stars team Doctor), Pharmacist Kofi Addo-Agyekum(vice president GAF), DCOP Lydia Donkor(Ghana Police Hd. Quaters), Nii Otoo Larkyne(Immigration Service), Mrs. Gifty Oware-Aboagye, Dr. Marc Dzradosi, Robert Appiah Ameyaw, Jonathan Lambert Awuletey, Richard Oppong Ansong, Hubert Leo-Mensah, and Rhodaline Owusu Ansong.
Founder and President of Ghana Armwrestling Federation who doubles as President of Armwrestling Federation of Africa and World vice president Mr Charles Osei Asibey graced the inauguration of the 13 member LOC with full of excitement.
Ghana received a massive endorsement to host the 12th Africa Armwrestling Championships last year at the Congress of Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA) in Cairo, Egypt.
