Manchester United has agreed a fee of £15 million to allow Anthony Elanga to join Nottingham Forest for the 2023/2024 league season.
Both Premier League Clubs reached an agreement today for the Swedish winger. The 21-year-old is billed to undergo for medicals with Nottingham over the weekend.
The winger has been a subject of interest from many clubs in England, Italy, Germany and Spain but had turned down a number of offers including a recent one from Everton.
Elanga joined Manchester Utd as a young player in 2014 and made his debut for the club in May 2021. He played a lot of matches for the club under former interim coach Ralf Rangnick.
However, he has had less playing time under current manager Erik ten Hag who preferred the use of Marcus Rashford, Anthony and Jadon Sancho in wide areas since his arrival as a coach over a year ago.
Elanga who is currently with the ‘Reds’ in the United States only managed 418 minutes in the Premier League for Manchester Utd last season.
