Christian Atsu Body Finally Arrive Home

The body of Christian Atsu arrived home in Ghana from Turkey at the Kotoka International Airport at 7:00pm local time yesterday.

The lifeless body of Atsu was met on arrival at the airport by the Vice President of Ghana Dr Mahmoud Bawumia, members of Ghana Football Association led by its General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo Esq., Family members of Atsu, top dignitaries and stakeholders of football and hundreds of football fans amidst tears and sorrow.

The vice president Dr Bawumia in a brief statement on behalf of the nation noted that Christian Atsu will be given a state burial to honor his memory for what he did for Ghana.

The former Black Stars and Chelsea player met his unfortunate death through an earthquake which occured in Turkey and Syria last two weeks which has claimed over 40,000 human lives and still counting.
