AC Milan and Olympic Lyonnaise have all shown keen interest to sign Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic in this year’s transfer window.
Both clubs have put in bids for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic who is free to leave the London club at the end of the season.
The American is in the final year of his contract with Chelsea and he is among a list of players who are at liberty to leave the club this summer. The Blue’s have already raised over £200million through sales of players this window with the possibility of raising that figure with the sale of Pulisic.
Many European clubs in Spain, Turkey, Portugal and Germany etc have all registered their interest in Christian Pulisic but according to sources it is only Lyon and AC Milan who have formally made an initial offer.
Both clubs are eager to sign the 24-year old player on a permanent deal this summer and are now in talks with Chelsea, who are also willing to sell the former Borussia Dortmund winger.
Pulisic has however, expressed his desire to leave Chelsea this summer to have a fresh career elsewhere. He recently confessed to ESPN in an interview that, he is looking to rediscover his happiness on a football pitch.
“I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,” he admitted. “I want to find that joy at a club level again, for sure.”
Pulisic who joined Chelsea for a fee of £58million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 has since struggled with injuries leading to lose of form. The 24-year old has made 145 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 26 goals with 21 assists to his credit.
